I live and work on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I pay respect to their elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded.

Laura’s art practice uses a healing methodology of creating predominately through the mediums of painting and textiles. An ongoing theme of her practice is the colour blue and the exploration of the colour’s duality of meanings, specifically in relation to joy and sadness. Through the use of colour, form and texture, her works hovers between darkness and light, operating as interpretations of memories, hinting at loss and grief through an object of beauty.

Laura completed her Bachelor of Fine Art at RMIT University in 2017 and Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours Degree) VCA, University of Melbourne in 2019.
